Is the witcher 3 a good game
I really enjoyed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.... — The Last Wish Q&A
IS THE WITCHER 3 ANY GOOD?
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt enchanted the worldwide gaming audience via a magic spell with surgical precision. The Witcher 3 and its supernatural monster hunting protagonist Geralt remain fondly remembered. When The Witcher 3 organically comes up gaming conversations, even the most jaded gamer sprouts a grin like Frodo had when reuniting with Gandalf. Almost everyone loves their experience with The Witcher 3 , almost everyone except me. While The Witcher 3 is easily among the best games of this decade, it traumatized me. The Lord of the Rings metaphor only works if Gandalf is pretending to be my friend so he can laugh frivolously before plunging a dagger into my lembas bread basket, his face transforming from the delightful pot-infused smile of Gandalf the Grey into the brooding scold of Geralt the White while I quivered on the ground as blood and second breakfast flowed from my gut. The Witcher 3 hurt me with its terrific yet devastating branching storyline.
I just completed the main story, got a good ending with the ideal world state I suppose but perhaps not the ideal character state. And yeah I think we should talk about how it stacks up relative to the best games of all time. This game is certainly the best game of the year, I don't think any sane person could dispute that even though the year's not done yet. But it's probably also better than literally every game that came out last console generation. I looked at an old list of mine and an amusing thread and apparently I put San Andreas at number 4 at the time as it was the best open world game. I think the Witcher 3's better.
Looks good, plays well- and is pretty engrossing. One entire land mass in The Witcher 3 could be room for an entire game (not counting white orchard.).

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review. But seriously, yeah it's awesome. But only for the right person - it's a huge grim fantasy RPG. If those things aren't your cup of tea then it probably won't be enjoyable. But I can't stop thinking about it at work :-P.
Its influence can be seen in many popular games like The Witcher 3 that followed and it is still being talked about to this day in critical circles, a content-rich goldmine that will always have a reliable place in the game libraries of many. For many players, Wild Hunt was their first introduction to the tale of Geralt of Rivia, which is a disservice given how much-established character development is ready for you to dive into with the second entry in the series. A worthy point of inspiration as any, Odyssey should feel deeply familiar to fans of The Witcher 3 in combat alone, as well as its nuanced protagonist and a healthy dose of dialogue options. The gear-based grind is also addicting and fun to toy with, as is exploring the bountiful ancient ruins steeped in the real-world mythos. If you really took a liking to the monster hunting aspect of The Witcher 3, you should feel right at home with Monster Hunter World.
