I loved the stars too fondly

QuotesPorn distinguishes itself as a place for artful or otherwise well-composed images; comics, memes, macros, and other low-effort content are not allowed. It's top shelf. I like it, but I have a hard time getting how it's supposed to be read. Maybe I'm too stuck in a poetry-must-rhyme mindset. I used to not get how something is poetry without rhyming, but then I had a class in high school that had us read poems every week. The broad range of what is poetry makes it really special, and I now prefer poems that don't rhyme because they feel so restricted and sing songy that it doesn't have a strong impact on me.

Post a Comment. It's been awhile! Life can get away from us pretty quickly; I can't believe how fast the last few months have gone. I haven't posted for awhile for a couple of reasons. First of all, my family is my priority. Our life has been super busy and I haven't had much time to feel creative or sit down at my computer for more than a few minutes at a time.
Sarah Williams. I do not care how practical or cynical you may be … you have made a wish. Personally I have found looking up at the night sky when I was upset or a had lot was on my mind to be helpful. Kind of calming. And, certainly, hopeful. On those days when random thoughts … sometimes negative thoughts … sometimes the less than positive thoughts … aw heck … any thoughts … start bouncing around in my head, I admit, I will take some time and look to the night sky searching for a star to distract me or give me some clarity or maybe better said … some thought decluttering. Not to look for tangible answers … because it would be silly to suggest that there answers in the stars.
I am a bit of a quote fanatic. Here are ten of my favorite quotes and why I love them, in no particular order. Ayn Rand is hit or miss for most people. Personally I love her work and Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorite books. There are many powerful quotes in the novel, however this quote resonates strongly with me and many others. I love this quote because it supports the individual.
