Letter from heavenly father to daughter
Daddy Loves His Girls by T.D. JakesThis book reads like a personal letter to the reader because T. D. Jakes writes to women as if a loving father is writing to his daughter. He writes on behalf of all fathers to reinforce their love to a beloved child, on behalf of the father who could not express his love, and on behalf of the absent or non-existant father.
On Behalf of The Heavenly Father, Jakes writes The Fathers Love into a womans heart who may have grown up with an abusive or non-loving father and is not accustomed to feeling loved.
The template for this book is Jakes sincere writing to his two daughters and the love and advice he wants to leave with them, but he structured Daddy Loves His Girls to be applicable to all women.
Through scripture, Jakes ministers to the reader the love of our Heavenly Father; and through personal examples, he gives us insight into the workings of a mans heart. Jakes also includes some practical advice on relationships and investing for the future.
Daddy Loves His Girls is an easy, uplifting read.

A Letter From Your Heavenly Father
Dear daughter everything that you have deemed imperfect was made by my perfect will. I crafted you from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head. I make no mistakes in anything that I do; you were not a mistake. Out of all creations, you were the one I had to touch in order to create. Dear daughter, I made you in my own image, after my own likeness to have dominion over all the earth. Insecurity cannot exist when I have given you power.
I received this either in connection with an activity or a lesson. It really helped me feel the love Heavenly Father had for me. Return to The Young Women's Corner home page. Return to All About Mormons. I remember well the day you left my side, wandered through the veil and ventured forth to fulfill you earthly mission. I had a tear in my eye as I clothed your spirit in a cloak of love and sent you off to school.
My love, you must bloom where you are planted. Therese of Lisieux once said that if every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness. And my daughter, you are lovely just the way you are. You will never find rest or solace in my love until you learn to love me in the present moment. My grace has been made sufficient for you.
A letter from the Heavenly Father to His daughter. Just beautiful. I had tears in my eyes reading this. It really reminds you of your individual worth and importance.

God’s Love For you
I once read a news article about an American soldier who was sent to Vietnam during the war. While there he fathered a daughter with a Vietnamese woman. Tragically, the daughter soon became an orphan. Her mother died, and her father left when the American forces pulled out of the country, so she was left without either a father or mother. The father lost all hope of ever seeing his young daughter again. Of course, tensions were high between the United States and Vietnam for a number of years following the war.
Our son-in-law told his daughter, three-year-old Eliza, that for family home evening they were going to have a lesson on a very special subject. She got a big smile on her face and attempted to guess the surprise. Yet as they grow up, they often grow away from the confident knowledge of three-year-old Eliza that they are very special. Youth often experience an identity crisis, wondering who they really are. My life seems hard.
