My Heart in His Hands: Ann Judson of Burma by Sharon James

In October 1810 a twenty-year-old girl in the quiet New England town of Bradford wrote the following words in her journal: If nothing in providence appears to prevent, I must spend my days in a heathen land. I am a creature of God, and he has un undoubted right to do with me, as seems good in his sight...He has my heart in his hands, and when I am called to face danger, to pass through scenes of terror and distress, he can inspire me with fortitude, and enable me to trust in him. Jesus is faithful; his promises are precious. Were it not for these considerations, I should sink down with despair. Ann Hasseltine had received a proposal of marriage from Adoniram Judson, who was shortly to leave for Asia as one of Americas first overseas missionaries. And thus commenced one of the great dramas of church history--a saga of love, courage, suffering and perseverance.

Olly Murs - Hand On Heart (Lyrics)

This one time I was at a street festival hosted by my Uni and there was a guy doing card tricks. I was watching him when I noticed he dropped a card.

To raise the funds to develop my heart sculpture. Hi, Iam a studio potter based in Edinburgh. I have had lots of interest from buyers but unfortunatley do not currently have the funds to produce them on a larger scale. I started a small studio in Edinburgh last year but due to the debt of setting up I am having to spend most of my time teaching simply to pay the bills. This isn't leaving much time to develop my own work. I am hoping to raise the funds to make moulds of my heart so that I can have another source of income other than teaching. As well as being a potter I am a lone parent of twin daughters.

At stake is the dignity of human life; at stake is the dignity of the medical vocation. Ez 34,16 ; he is the Good Samaritan who does not pass before the badly injured person by the wayside but, moved by compassion, he heals and serves cf. Lk Christian medical tradition has always been inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan. This tradition, he continued is identified with the love of the Son of God, who did good and healed those in need.
