Diles que no me maten
¡Diles que no me maten! by Juan RulfoI see a lot of reviews from students, what a shame. A shame that such masterpieces get lazy reviews because students feel forced to read something, and therefore already have the mentality that its not fun..... Maybe with age they will re-read such stories and gasp like I did, as one does not need direct, linear or obvious prose to be moved about the realities of life.
The dots connect, experiences, people, and the little details become center stage at what makes a life.... Juan Rulfo does just that, he doesnt tell you, he doesnt explain, and he doesnt need to....
he gets the reader to enter the consciousness of his characters and then one concludes, or does not....
as even after life, things remain.
