Lets talk about sex chords
Lets Talk About Love by Claire KannAlice had her whole summer planned. Non-stop all-you-can-eat buffets while marathoning her favorite TV shows (best friends totally included) with the smallest dash of adulting--working at the library to pay her share of the rent. The only thing missing from her perfect plan? Her girlfriend (who ended things when Alice confessed shes asexual). Alice is done with dating--no thank you, do not pass go, stick a fork in her, done.
But then Alice meets Takumi and she can’t stop thinking about him or the rom com-grade romance feels she did not ask for (uncertainty, butterflies, and swoons, oh my!).
When her blissful summer takes an unexpected turn, and Takumi becomes her knight with a shiny library employee badge (close enough), Alice has to decide if she’s willing to risk their friendship for a love that might not be reciprocated—or understood.

Funk de-emphasizes melody and chord progressions and focuses on a strong rhythmic groove of a bass line played by an electric bassist and a drum part played by a drummer , often at slower tempos than other popular music. Like much of African-inspired music , funk typically consists of a complex groove with rhythm instruments playing interlocking grooves that created a "hypnotic" and "danceable feel". Funk originated in the mids, with James Brown 's development of a signature groove that emphasized the downbeat —with heavy emphasis on the first beat of every measure "The One" , and the application of swung 16th notes and syncopation on all bass lines, drum patterns, and guitar riffs. Funk derivatives include the psychedelic funk of Sly Stone and George Clinton ; the avant-funk of groups such as Talking Heads and the Pop Group ; boogie , a form of post-disco dance music; electro music , a hybrid of electronic music and funk; funk metal e. Funk samples and breakbeats have been used extensively in hip hop and various forms of electronic dance music , such as house music , and Detroit techno. It is also the main influence of go-go , a subgenre associated with funk.

Dirty talk can get weird fast, but one sexpert investigates the right time for those oh so wrong words. While reading for a class on the topic of ethnomusicology, I recently learned of the importance of maintaining a cohesive relationship between vocals and instrumentals. Together, this creates a work that is appealing to the ear. It may seem unrelated, but this led me to a separate mental tangent on the topic of talking while having sex. That is, if the words, moans, and other expletive noises do not properly correlate with the rhythm created by two bodies for the polyamorous replace this number with that which you desire , then the entire sexual encounter may be a complete bust. Once I started to expand my ideas surrounding dirty talk, I realized that the words we say in bed might have stronger meaning than we think.

I would just like to congratulate you on the film and its success before we start. Thank you very much. Yeah, better than I even expected. Do you have any idea why this one in particular might be doing well? I think that meeting expectations and then exceeding them is maybe the secret. I gather that it was quite a tight shoot on House of Bad , did the timeframe pose any particular challenges for you, or was it easily manageable. You know it really came down to just having to plan out our schedule and go in there with an absolutely solid idea of what we needed.
Nice post, I'm looking forward for the next one. Meanwhile I'll give my 2 cents. The main problem in analyzing tonal music is that we mainly listen to relations between chords. This means that if a song modulates or there's a tonicization the same chord will have different tonal functions and we'll listen to it differently. Just counting a chord in a song may not be enough if they have different functions. The number of repetitions also matters. Is he eliminating repetitions in the analysis?
