Powershell: The Powershell for Beginners Guide To Learn Powershell Scripting, Powershell 5 and Windows Powershell by Matthew Adams

Not completely useless

I was attracted to this book by all the positive reviews, but now that Ive read the book, I have to wonder if the good reviews are all fake. They all say verified purchaser but they all read as if theyre written by the same non-native English speaker and all within a couple of weeks of each other. The book was free for awhile and maybe thats when they all purchased the book.

In any case, I found that the books explanations are abbreviated--like someone who was trying to demonstrate their knowledge instead of teaching it--and often non-sensical. The organization and writing confusing to a PowerShell beginner, I think.

I learned a couple of things I didnt know before, which is why I say the book isnt completely useless, but its not worth $2.
